~Natural stone explanation~
"Ruby"
Ruby, also known as the queen of gemstones, is a gorgeous stone that is the second hardest after diamond in the mineral group called corundum. Red ones are called rubies, and other colors are called sapphires. Before there was the identification technology we have today, there was a lot of confusion between rubies and red spinels. It has a passionate nature and a sensual luster, and is loved as a stone that brings victory and enhances charisma.
"Amethyst"
Amethyst, the February birthstone, is characterized by its transparent purple glow. It has been used in ancient Egypt, Judaism, and the Christian world as an ornament, and in the Christian world, it is said that it was called the bishop's stone and everyone wore this ring. It has been said since ancient times that it is a "stone to keep you from getting drunk," and it seems that it was also a wish to not be swept away by the waves of emotions.
"Iolite"
This natural stone has the characteristic of changing color to purple, blue, gray, etc. depending on the angle of the light and the angle from which it is viewed. It is a natural stone with a legend that Vikings once took advantage of this characteristic and held iolite up to the sun when sailing, and sailed their ships in the direction where the blue color was most clearly visible. Iolite was believed to be a stone that guided people in life like a compass.
"Silver 925"
Silver 925 (also known as sterling silver) is silver that is 92.5% silver mixed with other metals such as copper. 100% pure silver is not durable enough to be used as an accessory, so 925 silver is often used for accessories. Another feature is that 925 silver as a base silver is rarely sold to the general public. Like brass, silver also darkens or yellows due to the components in the air and becomes "sulfurized", so it will be easier to maintain its shine if you wipe it after it comes into contact with water or sweat, or keep it away from air during daily storage. You can remove the blackening by polishing it with silver polish, but since silver polish contains abrasives, you need to be careful not to polish it too much or polish the natural stone and damage it.
The most important thing to be careful of is taking a bath in a hot spring. If you take a bath in a hot spring, you may turn it black due to the influence of sulfur and other substances, and you may not be able to polish it, so please avoid bathing in a hot spring while wearing silver products.
