The Purple Day Grey butterfly is a subspecies endemic to Taiwan, also known as the Red-bordered Yellow-grey butterfly due to its wing coloration. The underside of its wings is yellowish-brown, with orange wavy markings along the edges. It is commonly found in plains and low-altitude mountainous areas. The larvae feed on Persicaria chinensis as their host plant, and adults can be seen year-round. They are often observed sipping nectar from wildflowers along roadsides and are quite numerous. The wings are dusted with silver powder, shimmering as they unfurl between your fingers, flashing and fluttering with every movement. The accompanying charm stone is Red Aventurine. The ring is open-ended, allowing you to adjust the size to fit your finger.
