Old days lined up
I remember the scenery of Venice on a rainy day
It's not a specific memory, but
the atmosphere of the city and the weather at that time combined
a mysterious, yet quiet and profound memory of the past revives
I walk down a small alley in the drizzling rain and look at the sky
The deep color of the sky and the green color of the sea
Old memories show me something
I think that is surely one of the paths to the future.
This piece is a combination of emerald and London blue topaz
I tried setting two natural stones with unchanging brilliance in a brass ring that gradually changes color and texture like an antique.

~Natural stone explanation~
"Topaz"
It has many colors and is very hard, so it has been used as jewelry since ancient times. There are various theories about the origin of the name, including that it comes from the island "Topasion" in the Red Sea, or that it comes from "topaz" which means fire in Sanskrit. It is a stone that changes color drastically due to the effects of light and heat, but it is said that the stone's power is sincerity, and it firmly shows the direction you should go in.
"Emerald"
It is a very famous stone as one of the four major gemstones in the world, and the oldest recorded use of it was in Babylonia around 4000 BC, and it is a natural stone that has been involved with people since ancient times. Emeralds are characterized by having many scratches inside and have three phases: liquid, solid, and gas. It has long been known as a stone that symbolizes "wisdom".
"Brass"
It is a metal made by mixing copper and zinc, and when new, it shines like gold, but over time, it becomes darker due to the effects of the components in the air, which causes a phenomenon called "sulfurization". By "sulfurizing", the piece changes to a calm atmosphere like an antique, and it is a luxurious metal in a sense that you can enjoy two faces of brass, shiny brass and calm brass. If you are concerned about the blackening or dullness of brass, you can polish it back to its original shine with a commercially available brass polishing agent. You can also prevent blackening by storing it in a sulfurization prevention bag for daily storage, or by storing it with sulfurization prevention chips in a sealable bag.
In the summer, blue marks or blackening may appear on your fingers due to sweat or moisture, but please rest assured that there will be no adverse effects if you wash it.
Since it is a metal that contains a lot of copper, people with metal allergies may need to be careful.
It is a very tasteful and beautiful metal, and you can enjoy the changes, so it is a reasonable metal that we hope many people will enjoy.
