holding symbolic meaning within Shintoism.
The facial expression features one eye open and one closed,
aiming to playfully capture a charming, sidelong glance.
The Kitsune also symbolizes the Big Dipper constellation,
hence the subtle representation of the Big Dipper found in the hollowed-out space on the inner side.
