Enjoy the dynamic and vivid play-of-color!** **Opal Care & Storage** If you've chosen opal or pearl, please be mindful to avoid overly humid environments or drastic temperature changes. Both can accelerate the decomposition or oxidation of organic gemstones. Due to their hardness and formation, please also avoid hot springs and baths, as well as products containing cleaning agents. Opal is a delicate gemstone that actually requires a bit of moisture. Therefore, we do not include desiccants in our jewelry pouches. Like other gemstones, it should not be worn during bathing or when visiting hot springs. Do not use a silver polishing cloth on opals; simply clean them with a clean, dry, or slightly damp cloth. We will include a jewelry polishing cloth. After wearing, gently wipe your ring clean and store it in its pouch. For all natural gemstone and metal jewelry, it is not recommended to wear them in hot springs or while bathing, as chemicals can cause adverse reactions. Avoid direct contact with perfumes and bleach. Please also refrain from storing jewelry in bathrooms or kitchens, as this can accelerate oxidation. For sterling silver or gold jewelry, when not in use, try to minimize exposure to moisture and air. Wipe clean with a dry cloth or the provided polishing cloth, then store in a PVC zip-lock bag. Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from collision with other items or hard objects. The zip-lock bag will include a desiccant imported from Japan. **About Opal OPAL** Color is the fundamental characteristic of most gemstones. These color variations are caused by diffraction and interference – essentially, light playing hide-and-seek with the gaps between these spherical structures! **Natural Stone Inclusions** The natural stones used in the NOW design studio are collected from around the world, each one unique, making most products one-of-a-kind. We meticulously select these stones, showcasing their colors under different angles and lighting for our clients. Natural stones may contain internal impurities (inclusions), which are unavoidable. If this is a concern, we advise against purchase.
