🛸The NASA series products of Mr. Sai Science Factory have all been officially reviewed and approved by NASA.
🚀Every product is full of passion for exploration and discovery, allowing you to feel the charm from space!
"Fly to the universe, the vastness! To infinity and beyond!" - But do you know where the starting point of space is?
At what altitude can we say: "You have officially entered space!"
What is the highest point a plane can fly? Or higher?
This brings us to the Kármán line.

What are the Karman lines?
The scientific community has long been discussing how to define the "end of the atmosphere".
The Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI) has set a standard of 100 kilometers above sea level.
This "boundary" is called the Karman line, which is the dividing point between the atmosphere and outer space.
The Carmen Line is an imaginary line.
Above this altitude, the air becomes extremely thin and the aircraft can no longer generate lift with its wings.
Must rely on rocket propulsion to continue rising.
In other words, this is the limit of airplanes, but the starting point of rockets!

This line is called the "Kármán Line" because the aerospace engineering master Theodore von Kármán discovered in his 1963 study:
Above 100 kilometers, the air is too thin for aircraft to rely on aerodynamics and they must rely on orbital mechanics.
Ordinary aircraft cannot generate enough lift to maintain flight.
If we want to break through, we need spacecraft, rockets, etc. that carry their own fuel to generate thrust.
From then on, "100 kilometers above sea level" was used as the boundary between the atmosphere and the universe.
So this is considered to be the end of the atmosphere and the beginning of space!
Is the Karman Line really fixed at 100 kilometers?
Actually, not entirely! The Karman line is not a physical "line".
It is a scientific concept, roughly distributed at an altitude of 85-100 kilometers.
100 km (common definition):
This is the most common definition, according to the International Aeronautical Federation (IAF).
100 kilometers is defined as the boundary between the Earth's atmosphere and space.
Above this altitude, the air pressure becomes so low that air becomes almost non-existent, and the aircraft no longer relies on air lift to stay in flight, so it enters space.
Therefore, NASA and most space agencies use 100 kilometers as the official start of space.
And many records, research, and missions related to space flight are conducted in accordance with this standard.
80 km (close to Kármán's 1956 calculation):
Theodore von Kármán calculated that at an altitude of about 83.6 km (51.9 mi),
The atmosphere has become too thin to support traditional aircraft flight, and the movement of objects now depends more on external forces.
, like inertia or gravity. So while it has implications for physics and aviation,
But the 100 km standard is currently more widely used.
The location of the Karman line can also be described by the structure of the atmosphere. It is roughly located near the bottom of the thermosphere.

Pattern introduction Layers of the Atmosphere:
The left side of the cup has the altitude (km) marked on it, and every structure of the Earth's atmosphere from sea level to outer space is clearly marked.
There are five regions: Troposphere, Stratosphere, Mesosphere, Thermosphere, and Exosphere.
It contains the location of the Karman line, each layer of the atmosphere,
The corresponding aircraft (e.g. commercial aircraft, hot air balloon, military reconnaissance aircraft, spacecraft) and natural phenomena (meteors, auroras, lightning, etc.) at that altitude are drawn.
Breaking through the Karman line, there are also twinkling little stars and artificial satellites,
At the same time, the patterns on the cup have been officially reviewed and approved by NASA to ensure the accuracy of these images.
On the right is the capacity of the cup (500ml in total), with a scale of 50ml.
Whether it is brewing drinks, milk, hand-brewed coffee, cocktails, cooking or baking, it is very practical

Inspired by the Kármán line: The Kármán line is located at the boundary between the Earth’s atmosphere and space.
With an altitude of about 100 kilometers, it symbolizes the starting point of mankind's space dream.
