Glistening stars float in the sky.
They vary in brightness, and when viewed through a telescope, each reveals its own unique color.
What did people in ages past think when they gazed at that unreachable sparkle?
The changing stars and constellations with the seasons make us feel the passage of time.
I wonder when we first came to perceive them as something more than just objects to gaze upon?
Surely, there are green stars floating in the heavens—
Green stars that reveal their color when illuminated by the light of a sun.
There must be countless stars in this universe that sparkle when bathed in light;
Perhaps the star I am thinking of now is one of them.
It can be nice, at times, to let your thoughts wander to those glittering stars.
For this ring, I applied milgrain detailing to half the band and set a single gemstone.
The stone chosen here is a green sapphire with a deep, rich luster.
I crafted a piece that harmonizes this stone with the clean, bright shine of silver.
*Please specify your desired size when placing an order.

We can also accommodate requests to set different gemstones, so please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Please note that this ring cannot be resized. Because the stone is set flush into the metal, applying the heat necessary for resizing would damage the piece. ~Product Details~

~About the Gemstone~
"Sapphire"
Historically, the word "sapphire" referred to blue stones; in the era of the Old Testament, lapis lazuli was apparently called sapphire. While there is a strong general impression that sapphires are blue, they actually come in a variety of colors. They belong to the corundum group—the hardest mineral family after diamond—where deep red stones are classified as rubies and all other colors are classified as sapphires. Nevertheless, blue sapphires remain the most beloved worldwide, with shades of blue that vary depending on the region of origin.
"925 Sterling Silver"
925 Sterling Silver (also known as Sterling Silver) is an alloy consisting of 92.5% silver mixed with other metals, such as copper. Because 100% pure silver lacks the durability required for jewelry, 925 sterling silver is the standard for silver accessories. Notably, 925 sterling silver is rarely sold to the general public in its raw bullion form. Like brass, silver is prone to "sulfidation"—darkening or yellowing due to exposure to elements in the air. To maintain its shine, wipe the ring after contact with water or sweat and store it away from air exposure when not in use. While tarnish can be removed with a silver polishing cloth, these cloths contain abrasives; care must be taken to avoid over-polishing or accidentally scratching the gemstone.
Please exercise particular caution regarding hot springs. Please do not wear silver jewelry while bathing in hot springs. Exposure to elements such as sulfur can cause the silver to turn completely black, potentially making it impossible to polish back to its original state.
