Silk Exudation Phenomenon: This is a unique trait of Green Sandalwood.** Under sealed conditions, organic compounds in Green Sandalwood cannot volatilize and form crystalline, flocculent deposits on the wood's surface. These crystalline formations are commonly referred to as "silk exudation." This silk is harmless to the body; Green Sandalwood is a healing wood that does not release harmful substances, but rather fresh oxygen. **If silk exudation appears after a period of disuse, simply wipe it with a dry cotton cloth or tissue. It will gradually disappear when exposed to air.** **2. Color Change** Newly cut Green Sandalwood has a yellowish-brown hue, which gradually turns green over time. The longer it is kept, the greener it becomes, eventually maturing into a dark green. After polishing, the surface is warm and jade-like.
