A belt is an essential accessory for those who favor a monochromatic style. When your entire outfit is in solid colors, accessories and bags become the focal point. Especially for minimalists who don't wear much jewelry, a simple T-shirt and jeans paired with a belt can elevate the entire look. If worn with a solid-colored dress, it becomes even more eye-catching, adding a touch of French effortless chic that I adore (who wouldn't love that?). This is a rare CELINE Triomphe chain belt, featuring Triomphe chain embellishments on both sides of the belt – absolutely stunning! It's a piece I've kept for myself; I own a similar one that I use frequently and it pairs beautifully with everything! I wholeheartedly recommend it! You won't regret owning this belt. Personally, I love wearing it with pants, adding a subtle yet sophisticated touch at the waist. The understated double Triomphe chains are not at all ostentatious. It's especially perfect with jeans! It creates a look very similar to a CELINE modern collection denim jeans from a few seasons ago that featured Triomphe chain embellishments on the waistband. I adored those jeans, and now with this belt, you can achieve a similar effect! The belt offers even greater styling freedom, complementing other pants and outfits. This is the linked Triomphe chain style, which looks incredibly chic with dresses! I highly, highly recommend it! Every belt is quite rare, as finding a beautiful style in good condition is genuinely difficult, so if you fall in love with it, you must act fast! The leather strap itself shows no peeling on the underside or edges. Overall, there are minor signs of use, and the leather has some fine scratches. Upon close inspection, the Triomphe chains show slight oxidation, but the overall visual impression is a beautiful golden hue! The underside of the belt features the CELINE gold-stamped logo. The chain links are secure, and the buckle hardware is a rich golden color. There are 4 original holes; an additional hole can be added if needed. There are no significant flaws that affect its use or are particularly noticeable. Being black, signs of wear are subtle and not visible when worn, as it's fastened at the waist (who's going to stare intently at your waist...|||)! However, today, the vast majority of processes are automated by machines with minimal human assembly, losing the delicacy of the past. The simplest and most direct way to see this is by comparing the newer "revived" vintage patterns from recent years with the authentic vintage patterns from older eras. The level of detail in the patterns alone is entirely different. If you love vintage patterns, you must seek out pre-owned items! Truly! In terms of style, older eras featured ✦ simpler, timeless, and enduring designs. Many current new designs are actually revivals of older styles. However, new designs are priced higher than their vintage counterparts. New designs are typically based on older styles, with added details or modifications. The final product often ends up more complex (or peculiar......) than the older versions. As you grow older, you realize that simplicity endures!! As you age, your wardrobe tends to return to basic pieces because the more fundamental, the more versatile. The quality of materials in older pieces is superior to newer ones. If you understand ✦ leather, you'll notice that the materials in new collections are generally of lower quality than in older ones. This is primarily because the cost of high-quality raw materials is too high today, and their availability is less than before. Earth's resources are diminishing... Furthermore, back then, brands didn't have the "ubiquitous" presence of numerous stores like they do now... The clientele typically had a certain income level and high expectations for the finished products. There wasn't the "fast fashion" culture of today; a bag was expected to be used for many years. The difference between new and old eras is clearly visible in the ✦ hardware. Many new hardware pieces oxidize and discolor after just one or two years of use, but vintage pieces typically do not. Besides the high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship, hardware from earlier eras was often plated with real K gold! It's worth mentioning that Chanel Vintage is expensive for a reason; many of its clasps and chains contain real gold, certified by gold merchants! Therefore, even vintage bags from the 60s and 70s, if well-preserved, can still have gleaming hardware today. As for new items available now, to my knowledge, no brand uses K gold in its hardware anymore, which is why it oxidizes so easily. This is my personal experience; I regret not entering the market earlier for many collections... I can no longer find them, or if I do, the price is astronomical...
