This ring is crafted by Thai Karen hilltribe artisans in 92.5 Sterling Silver. The shape is slightly uneven, giving the artifact its typical handmade feel, the surface is hammered and scratched on the outside and smooth on the inside. Our products are hand crafted by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans who use traditional tools and techniques. The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet. The product comes with traditional Thai packaging (which might differ from the one on the photo, depending on what we currently have in stock) and includes tracking number for safer shipping.
