This is an SDGs ring with Kintsugi, upcycled from Arita ware. Broken or chipped ceramics that are no longer in use are upcycled and finished with Kintsugi to be reborn as accessories. Our concept is to make people feel closer to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, transforming them into modern accessories that connect to the future and create new possibilities. We have combined two types of Japanese patterned ceramic fragments with apatite. The sides of the ceramic fragments are finished with Kintsugi, so the gold stands out even when viewed from the side, creating an elegant impression. With 14K coating, it is allergy-friendly, resistant to tarnishing, and can be enjoyed for a long time. The ring size is 17mm (generally size 13, depending on the brand), but it is an adjustable type, so the size can be expanded, making it wearable for anyone. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique, so while traditional Kintsugi uses tree sap from lacquer trees, this version uses adhesive for bonding.
