When we wear crystals, we resonate with their energy, making __regular purification essential__. It's recommended to establish a routine for purifying your crystals, perhaps on the 1st of each month or during a full moon (the 15th of the lunar calendar). There are many methods for purifying crystals, detailed in books and online. While soaking in saltwater is a common suggestion, some crystals and metals are delicate and can be damaged by salt or water, so Joyce personally doesn't highly recommend this method. If you have white/purple crystal chips, geodes, or clusters, you can place your crystal directly within or on top of them when not in use. Of course, the chips, geodes, and clusters used for purification also require regular cleansing. You might try sun-charging or moon-charging them. Joyce finds __smudging to be the most effective method__! Light palo santo, dried cedar leaves, dried sage leaves, or incense, and __use the smoke for purification__.
