For him, form is not merely appearance; it is a mastery of structure, proportion, and rhythm. It was this background that, upon encountering stone, drew him to its tranquil hues, natural textures, and unpredictable fissures, leading him to transition from the familiar world of industrial design to stone sculpture. Since embarking on his journey in stone carving, Master Lin has participated in creative workshops and exchange programs in over twenty countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, broadening his artistic vision and experience within diverse cultural contexts. In 2024, he represented Taiwan in a residency in Finland, where he completed his work "Prosperity." He continues to foster dialogue through public art installations, using stone as a medium to connect land and world. His transition from industrial design to stone artistry has shaped Master Lin's "less is more" style, reflecting his belief that creation is not about addition, but subtraction. It is a process of gradually revealing the stone's inherent form through carving, allowing simple, flowing lines to showcase its pure beauty.
