[About KOJIMA CRAFTS' "Kintsugi Pearls"] "Kintsugi" is a traditional technique where broken or cracked ceramics are repaired with lacquer, and the repaired seams are decorated with gold powder. This inspired us to begin creating our "Kintsugi Pearls." Pure gold powder is applied between the two pearls. After applying the gold powder, the piece is polished with a special tool made of natural stone (a carnelian spatula) to achieve an elegant texture. From design and production to shipping, everything is handled by the artist and designer, Kojima.
