We do our best to avoid these during the crafting process. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Slight variations in color depth between batches are natural. Vegetable-tanned leather also deepens in color with use, developing a richer caramel hue over time. • Like human skin, natural leather has pores. It will absorb water upon contact, and a faint water mark may appear after air-drying, which is a natural occurrence. The piece will be treated with maintenance oil upon completion to help reduce susceptibility to moisture or stains. • Avoid soaking the leather in water. If it accidentally gets wet, place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry, away from direct sunlight. • Light dirt can be wiped off with a clean cotton cloth. Deep oil stains are difficult to remove and will fade naturally over time. Handle with care and embrace the journey! │ Leather Dyeing │ • This series retains the handcrafted brushstroke effect. Through careful color testing, we've achieved our most satisfying shades and color proportions, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind. • Dyed products will not fade with incidental friction, though vegetable-tanned cowhide's color saturation may naturally decrease over extended periods. • Undyed leather is close to beige and will deepen in color and develop marks based on individual use and habits, much like a diary recording our life's stories. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care, allowing the natural oils from your hands to nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you can apply leather conditioning oil. • When storing, place it in a dry location.
