Simple Maintenance Guide Polished Gold / Polished Silver / Polished Black Silver Works Please use the included silver polishing cloth to wipe the metal surface, or gently polish it with mild abrasives (such as silver polish or toothpaste). Oxidized Silver Works No special care needed. The oxidized silver will gradually turn back to bright silver with wear. If you wish to restore the dark tone, you can use sulfur solution (or a sulfur hot spring) to blacken it again. Matte Gold / Matte Silver / Matte Black / Matte Copper Works These are wax-coated for anti-oxidation and do not require special care. The matte texture may gradually become shinier with wear. To restore the matte finish, you can use a scouring pad to brush along or across the grain. Gold Leaf / Gold Paint Works Please remove before bathing to avoid scratching the surface with sharp objects. Enamel / Gemstone Works Enamel and gemstones do not oxidize. Do not use abrasive cloths for cleaning. For regular care, use dish soap and gently rub with your fingers, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.
