Through repeated steps of annealing, forging, twisting, filing, drilling, and rolling, the surface of the metal develops rich variations in pattern due to the color differences and the aforementioned processes. Each piece's pattern is entirely unique. It is often used in Japan, Europe, and America as a special collectible craft or as wedding rings.
