It is not plated, as plating can peel and fade over time. I prefer the enduring quality of pure materials, so unless a customer specifically requests it, plating is avoided. 【Ring Size Measurement & Considerations】 1. Many factors influence ring size, including finger shape, tendency for swelling, measurement method, season, and temperature. Even with tools, a perfect fit isn't always guaranteed; slight variations are common. As long as the ring is not so loose that it might fall off, or so tight that it causes pain, it is considered normal. 2. When using a ring sizer, aim for a comfortable fit that won't slip off. If a size 12 is too loose and a size 11 is too tight, a size 11.5 might be ideal. Finger size is affected by heat expansion and contraction; your finger might be about half a size larger in summer than in winter. Ideally, a ring should feel slightly snug when tried on in summer and slightly loose in winter. Alternatively, wearing different rings for different seasons is also an option. __If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your ring size when your fingers are swollen__ to ensure accuracy. 3. For orders over $1,000, a complimentary ring sizer can be mailed to you. It will be sent after your order is placed and paid for; please provide your shipping address. 4. If you do not have a measuring tool, it is recommended to visit a nearby jewelry store or goldsmith to have your size measured professionally for greater accuracy. 5. You can measure the inner diameter of an existing ring and compare it to a ring size chart, or provide the measurement to the designer. __The inner circumference of the old ring must be perfectly round; deformed rings are not suitable.__ Visual estimation can lead to inaccuracies; a vernier caliper is recommended for precise measurement. 6. Cut a strip of paper approximately 5mm wide and long enough to circle your finger. Wrap it snugly around your finger, ensuring it's comfortable. Mark where the paper overlaps. Lay the paper flat and measure the circumference, then compare it to a ring size chart or provide the measurement to the designer. __This method can be prone to error if the paper is not pulled tight enough or is pulled too tightly, so pay close attention.__ 7.
