Metal: 18k (Au750) solid gold.
Size: band measures about 1.6 - 1.7 mm wide x 1.0 - 1.5 mm thick.

✪ The purity of gold is measured in karats. Pure gold measures 24 karats but is too soft in this state to be used effectively in jewelry. So it is alloyed with other metals such as silver, copper, etc. to increase its strength and durability.
