It is said to enhance concentration, insight, and the ability to see through people, which is why it's sometimes called "The Seeing Stone." "Silver 925" Silver 925 (also known as sterling silver) is made from 92.5% silver mixed with other metals, such as copper. Because 100% pure silver is too durable for jewelry, 925 is the most commonly used silver for jewelry. It's also notable that 925 silver as a base metal is rarely sold to the general public. Like brass, silver can darken or yellow due to "sulfidation" caused by components in the air. Wiping it down after contact with water or sweat, and storing it away from air during everyday storage, will help maintain its shine. While you can remove dark spots with silver polish, caution is required as silver polish contains abrasives, so over-polishing or damaging the natural stone can result. The most important thing to be careful of is bathing in hot springs. Please avoid bathing in hot springs while wearing silver products, as sulfur and other substances can cause the silver to turn black and become impossible to polish.
