Finger size is affected by thermal expansion and contraction between seasons; fingers are typically about half a size larger in summer than in winter, so consider this. Ideally, a ring should feel slightly snug when tried on in summer and slightly loose in winter, or you can switch fingers depending on the season. __If you are prone to swelling, avoid measuring your ring size during periods of swelling__ to ensure accuracy. 3.
