The name of "Shachen Department Store" is a homophonic creation of the Cantonese slang "Shachen Baihuo". People who are described as "Shachen Baihuo" are mostly arrogant and domineering. Today, Cantonese culture and its inheritance are in trouble and have almost become a subculture. The younger generation is unfamiliar with their mother tongue and is even ashamed to use it in daily life. But we believe that our mother tongue is always worth being proud of.

Although the culture that grew up with it is declining, we hope that it will continue to "sand and dust". We will expand the use of Cantonese through illustration art and cultural and creative product design, and use Cantonese vocabulary, old Cantonese industries and Cantonese daily necessities as the main themes. We will take over the endless inspiration she has given us to compile and draw a special department store book.
