Mitagi Seian's work is produced in an original way based on the Part de Vert technique. This technique is said to be the oldest glass technique in the world, and its origin dates back to the ancient Mesopotamian era.

A plaster mold is created from a motif made of clay, and the plaster mold is filled with glass powder and fired in an electric furnace. After deburring and polishing, the work is finished.
The technique required a great deal of labor and time, and the inheritance was interrupted several times, and it was called a "phantom technique".
At present, various artists continue to experiment and create works with their own worldviews.
