Since 2014, the creative project with the theme of "rust objects", through the collection of iron objects with emotional meaning to the owner, through the transformation of fiber material to record a work of iron objects.

Chen Yingting is a fiber artist who also makes fabric accessories in daily life. Natural fiber materials are used in daily objects, and rust dyeing and plant hand dyeing techniques are used to achieve daily wear every day.

Rust stain
It is dyed with rust iron. In a humid environment, contact the natural fiber with the rust iron, and wait for the soaking time to let the rust color dye into the fiber, and then develop color.
plant dye
Using natural plant extracts such as gallnut, onion skin, abel, and longan leaves, the traditional hand-dyeing process is followed to single-dye or double-dye to produce different shades. The combination of each plant and rust dye also excites a unique color gradation.
