Pintoo, headquartered in Taipei, is a Taiwanese puzzle company that specializes in R&D, manufacturing, picture selection, and providing a variety of customized puzzles and design services. The Pintoo brand it operates is considered by consumers around the world to be the representative of plastic puzzles. One of the most high-profile early projects was the Sphere Puzzle, released in 2003.

Unimar has R&D departments in Taipei and Dingnan to develop new patterns and new shapes respectively. The production base is located in Dingnan. It has bases in Taipei, Hong Kong and Shenzhen, responsible for brand promotion, wholesale sales, and operation and management of directly operated stores.


Company history
Founded in 2001, Unimar originally focused on developing ERP systems as its main business project, but due to a special opportunity, it tried to develop a sphere puzzle. After a two-year development period, in 2003, the world's unique hollow sphere puzzle, which has a smooth surface and can be assembled without the use of glue, was released. After that, more puzzle research was invested, and the development of ERP was transferred to internal use, forming an interesting phenomenon of information companies selling puzzles.

Since 2003, Unimar has been producing sphere puzzles under the 3D-JP trademark for many well-known puzzle manufacturers at home and abroad, such as Yanoman in Japan, Ravensburger in Germany, Mega Brands in the United States, and Renoir Jigsaw Puzzle Culture Workshop in Taiwan. In 2008, Unima launched new graphic puzzles and patterns, presenting the fun of products to consumers through Pintoo. We will continue to develop more simple and practical puzzles, and actively develop retail stores and online stores. Hong Kong and mainland China continue to use 3D-JP.
