Since the late Qing Dynasty, hand-made paper still stands quietly in Puli Township, Nantou, where there are only hand-made paper crafts in the country. Although the paper mill only has single digits, it still continues to be tenacious on this land full of local creativity and professional spirit. Work hard.
Paper Farmer's College ~ Miniature Handmade Settlement, located in Pumili, Puli. Founded in 2019, the park uses four processes of dyeing, weaving, paper, and pottery to practice green living techniques. The materials used are easily available in the surrounding environment by craftsmen. The agricultural fiber uses natural fiber as the base material, through the ancient hand-made paper, plant dyeing, living ceramics and woven technology to produce products with local symbols, styles, household objects, daily necessities and so on.
We look forward to starting from the green circular economy, creating unique products with Puli agricultural wastes combined with paper elements, and transmitting the concept of benign full recycling.
