As a single mom, Melissa found that there wasn't a bento bag on the market that would keep her little one's food cold until lunchtime. He has to use ice treasures that are easy to disappear or ice cubes that are suspected of leaking in the lunch bag to barely keep cold.

Spotting such a problem, Melissa began researching and patenting the idea of incorporating a freezable gel in a lunch bag. In 2009, she created the PACKiT Personal Cooler: the first collapsible, freezer-friendly bag that itself keeps food and drinks cold for extended periods of time.

Under her leadership, PACKiT's patented technology has continuously expanded its product line, from lunch bags at the beginning to wine bags, baby bottle bags, picnic bags and shopping bags, etc., and has been sold in more than 40 countries middle.

Now Melissa lives with her three children in Westlake Village, California, USA, and is still working hard to develop more new PACKiT products every day.
