Mizunoki is a Washi Crafts company that creates works using slightly unusual methods using washi paper!

With the desire to "deliver handicrafts that take advantage of the gentle colors unique to Japanese paper and blend warmly into everyday life," the husband and wife team up and create their products every day, surrounded by over 150 types of Japanese paper.

He uses a somewhat unusual method of "pasting torn or cut Japanese paper" to color his works, making use of the natural colors of the Japanese paper.

The color of the work is the same as that of the Japanese paper.
By not adding color after the fact and instead using the natural color of the washi paper, the piece has a delicate, gentle and warm feel.
By taking full advantage of the unique feature of washi paper, which is that different colors can be created by layering it, you can create works with a rich range of colors.

Our works, decorated with Japanese paper, have motifs of familiar creatures and foods.
We have a full lineup of interior goods, accessories, stationery, and more that are perfect for a variety of everyday situations.
