Warm Building Luān Tio̍k • Beautiful years.

"The good years are both home and studio, and life and belief."

In 2011, Yi Beng and Xiao Zhu met in Dulan and became each other's strength.

In June 2012, Beautiful Years Studio was established in Shulin, New Taipei City.
I have always used old wood to create lettering and carvings.

In May 2015, I returned to live in Taiyuan, Taitung.
Live in the mountains surrounded by tranquil clouds and mist, and feel the earth.

In January 2020, I slowly built a small warm house "Luān Tio̍k" using collected old wood. I stopped building it and it was completed two years later.

In March 2022, we moved to Dulan, a place where we can see the sea and small islands
A family of five lives in "Luān Tio̍k" and has opened a small shop to display our works.

March 2023,
Eight years after returning to Taitung, we finally met Coconut.
Drink coconut water and eat coconut meat every day, and peel the fiber to make coconut bowls.
Ordinary and stable, exchange sweat for fresh and sweet fruits, use coconuts to create the beauty of life,
Deeply feel the connection between coconuts, islands, oceans and people,
Thank you for the abundance and vitality of the earth, which makes us long for it too
Pass on this love of the earth.

Thinking about living here,
That's enough.

The studio has been established for twelve years.
We still do what we like,
Living while creating,
Be with the land.

One stroke at a time, carving and writing,
The words engraved in my heart, the blessings I want to give,
