Le Miel’s selections are about 40% crafted by women from various indigenous communities and ethnic minorities.
They, like me, are girls, women, daughters; they're wives and mothers.
But they are also different from me—in their hands, from youth to old age, the threads and leather weave the economy of a tribe, and each strike echoes the continuation of a culture.
Le Miel’s products are not born from cold machines and assembly lines, but from the souls of artisans around the world.
From a piece of fabric, a strand of thread, a hemp fiber, or a patch of leather, the palm is like a mother’s womb, and the world they see is like the stirring of life within.
Within those stitches, these artisans from distant lands have woven a part of themselves.
And then, after traveling thousands of miles, these creations arrive in the palm of your hands.
As someone who loves to travel, I want to unfold the vastness I’ve seen before your eyes.
Let’s experience together the lands awash with vibrant and enigmatic colors, where modern and ancient cultures collide.
Le Miel, meaning honey in French,
is my way of adding a touch of fragrant nectar to the monotony of daily life,
to tint your days with a gentle shade of gold.
But more than that,
I see myself as a diligent honeybee,
working day by day, tirelessly fluttering my wings,
gathering nectar from the wildflowers that flourish across different lands,
and delivering it into each moment of your life.
Together, we weave these moments soaked in honey into the fabric of life,
so that your days and nights are filled with the fragrance of flowers.
YOLO,
I invite you to join this joyful and delightful pursuit.
“Art de vivre, Vivre de Miel. Living is poetry, sweet as honey.” — Le Miel
