The name CHAMAISE is inspired by the words "cha" & "mates". It means "tea gathering with friends". Same as the Chinese brand name, it represents a group of people who pursue quality of life and enjoy drinking tea.

The rocking horse element in the brand logo expressing the founder's memory of tea which was since her childhood - Her grandmother was engaged in the tea industry and her ancestral hometown is Chaozhou, a city where the famous Gong Fu tea is originated from. Everyday her family would drink Gong Fu tea together after dinner, which has become a habit and lifestyle over the years.

We endeavor to:
- Introduce high-quality teas from all around the world, retain the traditional essence and at the same time form a tea-drinking habit which is suitable for modern lifestyle
- Promote tea culture, enjoy tea tasting and keep a healthier body and mind through drinking tea
- Remind tea guests to always cherish the moment, by quoting the Japanese tea ceremony idiom "One Encounter, One Chance" (いちごいちえ)

Both our tea leaves & tea bags passed food safety test. We use the environmental friendly material - Japanese corn fiber (PLA) tea bags, in our Pyramid Tea Bag collection.

Different from the tea bags which are generally made with dust tea, we are using high-quality whole leaf tea. The pyramid shape of tea bag gives the tea leaves more room to expand and release full flavour, not only good for multiple steeping, tea lovers now can also enjoy the original taste of the tea.
