Jade Swing Chime (Karin Wood Chime Stick)
This chime, shaped like a jade pendant, sways charmingly when struck. Designed by KOIZUMI STUDIO, the Jade Swing Chime offers a dual sensory experience of auditory and visual healing.
The chime stick, crafted from ebony/karin wood or maple, features a brass base. This not only imparts a premium feel but also enhances the resonance of its strike. The inverted design of the chime allows for a lingering, melodious aftersound.
The unique craftsmanship of the chime stick allows it to stand upright on its own, much like a roly-poly toy, ensuring it never falls.
The Jade Swing Chime received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD in 2005.
It is meticulously handcrafted by artisans in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, a renowned center for Japanese brass craftsmanship.
