**◈ A Word from the Designer**
Carefully selected Morganite (Beryl, Pink Aquamarine) with rich color and clarity, carved into a smoothly rounded, substantial Ping An Kou (ancient coin) shape. The gemstones possess a uniform, lustrous quality, enhanced by K gold chains and ornate window-lattice charms, exuding a classical charm while maintaining a fashionable and beautiful aesthetic.
**This pair can be converted to clip-on earrings, but due to the relatively large size and weight of the gemstones, clip-ons may not be secure. ^^**
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its destined owner.**
**Morganite**
Morganite belongs to the Beryl family and owes its pink hue to manganese. It is named after Joan Pierpont Morgan, an American banker and gem collector.
Morganite exhibits a delicate and elegant color, often appearing as soft pink or orangey-pink. Morganite with bluish or greenish tones is more commonly known as "Aquamarine."
Aquamarine is named for its clear, blue-green color, reminiscent of the ocean.
Legend has it that mermaids, dwelling in the deep blue sea, adorned themselves with Aquamarine, allowing the stones to absorb sunlight to gain mystical power for self-protection. Thus, Aquamarine is also called the "Mermaid Stone."
For centuries, sailors navigating the turbulent waves have used Aquamarine to pray for the sea god's protection during their voyages. Consequently, Aquamarine is revered as the "Stone of Courage," symbolizing calmness, bravery, and wisdom.
**Beryl**
The Beryl family is a star player among colored gemstones. Known for its hardness, high clarity, and a diverse, brilliant spectrum of colors, Beryl is a perennial favorite in the world of gemstones.
Beryl displays different colors depending on the trace elements present, giving rise to distinct gemstone varieties:
1. When containing chromium ions, it appears emerald green, forming the highly prized **Emerald**.
2. When containing iron ions, it presents as sky blue or sea-blue, known as **Aquamarine**.
3. When containing iron ions, it exhibits a golden yellow or pale lemon yellow hue, called **Heliodor**.
4. When containing manganese ions, it displays pink, rose, or peach colors, referred to as **Morganite**.
**Ping An Kou (Peace Buckle)**
Since the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Chinese people have attached buttons to the clothing of newborns and young children, praying for their peaceful and healthy growth. Over time, buttons evolved into various materials, yet they retained the meaning of wishing for peace, gradually becoming known as Ping An Kou.
In terms of shape, the Ping An Kou has an inner and outer circle. The outer circle symbolizes the vast universe, while the inner circle represents our inner peace and tranquility. It carries the profound wish for peace and happiness for the wearer.
Furthermore, the design of the Ping An Kou resembles that of ancient coins, hence it is sometimes referred to as an "ancient coin," and ancient coins are also sometimes called Ping An Kou.

**◈ On Care and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (subtle inclusions, internal lines, healed fractures, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, asymmetry, etc.). When worn frequently, you will observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones; they often become more transparent and captivating, which is also the best method of care.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If stained, avoid using detergents. Clean with plain water and wipe with a soft cloth. You may also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (like baby oil) for gentle nurturing.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, but avoid external force or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric components (ribbon, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch, with a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external force, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For any jewelry, when stained, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for compatible materials. After washing, ensure prompt drying.
5. When removed, store jewelry properly, sealed from excess air to slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or pressing.
