Cookie & Cafe Square Bag

We've also created a square-shaped bag using our cookie & cafe fabric! Many cookie tins from the Reiwa era are square, aren't they? ^^ While the round pochette is lovely, this square size is recommended for those who also prioritize practicality! The bag opens wide, making it easy to put things in and take them out, and the generous gusset means it can hold quite a bit. And what's more! It's reversible, so you can flip it inside out and use the floral pattern on the lining. The outer fabric features the cookie or cafe pattern only on the front, with silver satin quilting around the sides. The lining is a matte, water-repellent fabric, printed with our original floral pattern, allowing for reversible use. It's stain-resistant and helps keep your belongings dry even on rainy days. There's one pocket on the lining. The strap is short, designed for hand-carrying. An optional cross-body strap can be added. The bag is finished with our original acrylic button closure. Estimated shipping: Within 1 month The cookie and cafe fabrics are made using a jacquard weave, custom-woven for pupupu by a textile mill in Kiryu, Gunma Prefecture. Unlike printed fabrics, the pattern is created by weaving colored threads, resulting in a立体 (three-dimensional) fabric. The cookie pattern has varying thread thicknesses, giving the cookie portions a slightly plump texture. It features a delightful assortment of cookies, including cocoa-flavored ones, jam-topped cookies, shell-shaped ones, and nostalgic Showa-era treats. For the cafe pattern, the threads around the forks and spoons are intentionally left slightly fuzzy, adding a unique accent to the design. They're so inviting to touch! Between the spoons and forks, you'll find woven motifs of tea, scones, cakes, and cupcakes. pu・pu・pu products feature original fabrics. We create illustrations and print them using a fabric-specific printer. We also meticulously design the shapes, creating patterns from scratch. We craft delightful fabric goods that bring a smile and make everyday use a joy, just like saying "pupupu."
