These earrings are crafted by connecting Roman glass, granulated brass, carnelian, blue antique beads, and ethnic bells. The Roman glass dates back to the Roman Empire (27 BC – 395 AD). It features countless tiny imperfections formed over time, offering a unique ancient glass aesthetic. These pieces are polished fragments of ancient vessels, now drilled with holes. Both beads show some chipping. The glass itself is an olive yellow hue. (Roman glass size: 1.6cm length x 1.1cm width - elongated pieces) The small bells are components from the Kuchi tribe of Afghanistan, originally part of adornments. These are vintage items. They do not produce sound. The granulated beads are brass beads crafted by the Benin tribe of Africa. They are exquisitely detailed. The orange beads are carnelian, their deep color reminiscent of ripe berries. The blue beads are antique "Indo-Pacific" beads. The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These specific beads are archaeological finds from Indonesia, dating back to approximately the 10th century – over 1000 years old!
