Here's the story On my last day in Siem Reap, I took a morning stroll through the nearby French Quarter and noticed a shop selling local specialties. Upon entering, I was immediately captivated; I couldn't tear my eyes away. The colors were rich yet tasteful, indicative of high-quality pigments, and the ceramic sheen was perfectly balanced. These were complete works of art, possessing their own distinct aesthetic. Each bead resembled a miniature Angkor Wat, exuding an exotic charm – cute and unique. It was love at first sight. The shop assistant patiently explained that it was a local brand using local materials. Returning to my guesthouse, I asked my driver with little hope if we could visit their studio on our final day. The driver said it was just ten meters from our guesthouse! As I rang the doorbell, I saw their unique logo inlaid on the wall with their distinctive material. I was as happy as a dog, bouncing with excitement. I even received a warm welcome and was able to experience their handcrafted process step by step! In the twilight of that last day, as the fading light cast a glow on the shimmering swimming pool, I scattered the stones for a photoshoot.
