We've translated memories of landscapes from distant, faraway lands visited on our travels into a brooch using the art of wood inlay. Wood inlay is a technique where pieces of wood with different natural colors are fitted together like a puzzle to create shapes and images. Some of the black dots and lines are created by scorching the wood. No artificial coloring has been used; the natural colors of the wood are celebrated. Each piece is crafted individually, highlighting the unique grain of each wood. Adorn your clothing as an accent, or attach it to a hat or a simple bag... When hung on a wall, it becomes a charming piece of art.
