It flows with a natural rhythm in our living spaces, connecting us to nature, and soothing our minds and bodies. **> Multi-purpose Wooden Spoon Series** Wooden Spoon Gourd (Approx. 15cm length x 2cm diameter x 0.8cm height) Unique and natural, one-of-a-kind. Can be used as a **matcha scoop, tea needle, or other tea accessories**, as well as a **hair accessory**, and for other applications. **Craftsmanship:** Fully hand-carved and polished. The surface is finished with **natural beeswax for a light polish, enhancing its deeper color and luster.** We have been consistently designing original wooden spoons for use as tea utensils, dessert spoons, fruit dishes, and display pieces. Initially conceived as a distinctive accessory for our studio designers, these wooden spoon pendants became so beloved by customers that we decided to offer them. Aged cypress wood is particularly difficult to source. **The aged materials in our studio are salvaged from old furniture and the beam pillars of old houses in our hometowns.** Larger pieces of wood are used for substantial creations, while only smaller remnants are fashioned into accessories. These are **limited edition custom pieces, embodying the rebirth of old materials.** **Please note: As each piece is made from natural wood, while the shapes may be consistent, the grain patterns will always differ. This is the inherent beauty of the material.** **Important:** For custom-ordered wooden spoons, you can choose the natural raw wood finish (which will develop a patina over time with handling and wear), or we can apply a light polish of edible walnut oil or natural beeswax. This provides a patina-like effect quickly and does not affect the wood's natural aroma. Thank you! **> Cypress Wood** Cypress, alongside pine, is revered as **"the chief of all woods."** Wang Anshi's explanation in "Zishuo" states: "Cypress is like 'count,' hence the character 'bai' (柏)." This is how cypress wood got its name. Cypress wood contains resin, which causes it to dry slowly and makes it extremely resistant to rot. Cypress trees grow very slowly. The two cypress trees from my childhood home in my hometown have barely changed their size even now. Consequently, cypress wood is fine-grained and hard, with smooth, clear, and exquisite grain patterns, and a naturally dignified color. Fresh cypress wood is relatively light in color. Aged cypress wood, however, has a deeper hue and a more mellow, pleasant aroma. **As time passes, its color deepens, imbuing it with an antique and elegant aesthetic.** ∨ We firmly believe that wood possesses a warmth, and its colors and textures are rich with the stories of nature.
