Plant-Dyed Cotton Handwoven Dress / Indigo Variegated Dye / Thai Karen Ethnic Group / Ikat Dye - ชุดเดรส - ผ้าฝ้าย/ผ้าลินิน สีน้ำเงิน

รายละเอียดสินค้า

[Fair Trade, Ethical Product] This is a handwoven dress featuring an impressive ikat pattern. Women of the Karen ethnic group, living in Chiang Mai, Thailand, dyed the fabric using plant-based dyes and wove it by hand. Currently, the technique of ikat dyeing is becoming increasingly rare, even more so than weaving techniques, making this a truly precious form of craftsmanship. This dress has a relaxed silhouette, making it exceptionally comfortable to wear. Slits have been added to the hem for ease of movement. With its moderate thickness, it can be worn as a single piece or layered throughout the year with tank tops, long-sleeved shirts, or pants. It features a V-neckline on both the front and back, creating a neat and elegant look from behind. This garment, filled with the charm of handmade craftsmanship, makes a perfect gift. The indigo color is dyed using indigo leaves. By weaving the fabric with variegated threads of indigo and light blue (pale indigo), a richly textured pattern has been achieved. It becomes softer and more comfortable to use the more you wear it. *The item will be delivered pre-washed. *After washing, gently stretch the fabric and hang it to dry to minimize shrinkage. *The ikat pattern varies from one piece to another, so the actual product may have a different pattern than the one shown in the image. --- Click here for a list of dresses ▽ https://pinkoi.com/store/chikuchikutong?category=0&subcategory=6&catp=group_0%2Cgroup_0_1%2Clisting_6&catp=group_0%2Cgroup_0_1%2Clisting_6 *Color variations of this dress are also available. --- <size (approx.)> Width: 62.5cm (24.6′′) Length: 118cm (46.5′′) Neck circumference: 72cm (28.3′′) Sleeve opening width: 16.5cm (6.5′′) Slit: 19.5cm (7.7′′) *Model height: 155cm (5′1′′) <material> Cotton (plant-dyed, handwoven) *Synthetic fibers are used for machine-sewn parts. *Please check the care instructions below before purchasing. https://img.lazcdn.com/g/p/62f62063dfaed207c907f9457fb80100.jpg_2200x2200q80.jpg_.webp ■Gift Wrapping (Free) Both regular orders and gifts are wrapped as shown in the photo. We ask for your understanding and purchase with the appreciation of the craftsmanship passed down from mother to child. *About payment. [Care Instructions for Plant-Dyed and Handwoven Products] Plant-dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please pay attention to the following points when caring for and using them. Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. Be careful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags. Using dark-colored clothing or bags together may make color transfer less noticeable. Dark colors, in particular, are prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing. Also, when washing, we recommend hand washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, place it in a net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, washing in a machine may accelerate fabric damage and color fading. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade. - About sizing. For fabric products, threads may be sized with rice paste, but the paste will usually come off after about two washes. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us!
