"Tenon" refers to a mortise, and Tenonart, as the name suggests, is art created using mortise and tenon techniques. Throughout their creative process, the team never relied on animal images or models for comparison. Instead, they meticulously crafted each piece based on the imagined physique and expressions of the story's characters, completing their work through continuous refinement. The designers' commitment to quality is exceptionally high; they even developed a proprietary paperboard for Tenonart after searching extensively for a satisfactory material. This custom paperboard meets their stringent requirements for laser engraving precision and rigidity. Flat paper, devoid of life, transforms into a three-dimensional form through accumulated emotion, precise cutting, and careful assembly. What's truly astonishing is how these creations seem to possess a soul, as if by magic, capturing fleeting moments from their stories. Gazing at their eyes and gestures, one can easily forget they were once merely cold sheets of paper. In 2009, Tenonart's first creation, Adonis, was reimagined by the bounce team into a collaboration with AMIT X bounce X Tenonart. It graced the cover and inner pages of AMIT (A-mei Chang) - Amiture album, and a 1:1 scale Adonis, adorned with AMIT's iconic fiery red limited-edition antlers, made a striking appearance in the music video for "Hao Dan Jiu Lai" from the same album, captivating audiences.
