Began studying jade carving in Taipei in 1988. Invited to the Hualien International Art Festival in 2001 for live carving in the local creation zone. Selected for the "Dream of Craft" award at the 10th Taiwan Craft Design Competition in 2002. Invited by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute to exhibit at the Presidential Office in the "Taitung Local Exhibition" in 2003. Invited to the National Museum of Natural Science in 2005 to showcase indigenous carvings at the National Museum of the Czech Republic as part of the "Thousand Faces of Formosa" exhibition. Participated in the "Gathering of Jade Carving Masters from Both Sides of the Strait" exhibition at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in 2013, being invited to the Taiwanese Jade Master section. Invited to exhibit at the Presidential Office Gallery in 2016 by the National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute for the "Reunion – Sustainable Craftsmanship Exhibition."
