Marble, formed over millennia through recrystallization from limestone or dolomite subjected to contact and regional metamorphism, possesses a hardness that presents a significant challenge in product creation. We meticulously slice the stone into thin layers, preserving the natural strata, textures, and tactile qualities of the rock. The stone features a grey base with black mineral undertones, enhanced by a special spraying technique that creates random, beautiful veining. Each piece is unique. Alongside initial small leather goods, the Dragonfly Dance - Box Series was specially designed for pinkoi. Upon its initial design, we specifically targeted young professionals and office workers. A preview of this collection was exhibited at the 2021 Taiwan Creative Expo (April 16-25), where it received enthusiastic affirmation and admiration from many young attendees, who expressed amazement at the unique combination of marble and leather.
