Spanning from Baroque to contemporary, and from Germany to Taiwan, the album showcases the organ's brilliant and versatile colors. Featured are beloved works by musical giants such as Bach's "Sonata in D Major for Viola da Gamba and Harpsichord, BWV 1028" and "Passacaglia and Fugue in c minor, BWV 582," Liszt's variations on a basso continuo from the cantata "Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen," and Höller's sacred song improvisations "Most Beautiful Lord Jesus" for cello and organ, among other classic pieces. Furthermore, the album specially includes two arrangements inspired by Deng Yu-hsien's song "Longing for the Spring Breeze." One is an adaptation by Taiwanese composer Liu Shen-hsien, and the other is by German composer Schneider. Each arrangement offers a different sentiment to the same melody, as the organ and cello unite to convey a song that belongs to the Taiwanese people.
