Woven with dual-tone blue and white yarns, the brushing process subtly reveals the texture of the white threads, creating a sense of depth and layered texture, akin to a meteor streaking across the sky after midnight. Crafted using indigo pre-dyeing techniques, this fabric, with its blue and white base, features three different colored yarns interwoven in a twill structure. Subtle tonal variations are inherent in the fabric's surface. After a single-sided brushing, the white yarns gently emerge, forming a three-dimensional and visually enduring texture – much like the lingering trace of a meteor across the midnight sky, understated yet present. An 85% cotton and 15% wool blend strikes a balance between substantial weight and a gentle warmth. The twill weave provides structure, while the brushed finish offers a tactile feel that integrates seamlessly into daily life – less rigid than typical denim, offering a comfort that endures. Ideal for creating pieces that require structure and durability, such as outerwear, bags, and aprons. Photographs were taken in natural light by a window at the Hermin Textile Museum (HMTM) and under warm white lighting, which may differ from indoor lighting conditions at home. This fabric has a significant contrast between light and dark tones. Therefore, variations due to camera, screen, viewing angle, and environment are expected to be more pronounced. It is recommended to pre-shrink by washing before creation. Leave room for shrinkage during creation or opt for dry cleaning as appropriate. . Color bleeding is more noticeable with deep-colored/high-concentration natural textiles when washed, which is normal. Please wash dark and light-colored textiles separately. . Fabric is hand-cut, and minor imperfections such as small nicks or uneven edges will be accommodated by providing ample order length. Minor flaws may occur during the fabric production process. We inspect all items before shipment. If any anomalies are found, we will contact you proactively and provide the corresponding quantity to ensure usability after cutting. .
