This results in a "lightness" and "softness," and a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably small "weaving flaws" that may appear as "loose threads" at first glance. While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric, using them in less conspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them entirely.
