2x/20cm Acrylic Paperweight Ruler Magnifier - Made in Taiwan [A043]

**Hamlet Optics Series** **2x / 20cm Acrylic Paperweight Ruler Magnifier - Made in Taiwan [A043]** **Product Description** This semi-cylindrical magnifier is designed to combine the functions of a Typoscope reading guide (contrast panel) and a stationery ruler. The white printed text and centimeter/inch scales allow it to be used as a measuring ruler. The addition of a black printed surface acts as upper and lower masking bars for the magnified image. When engaged in lengthy document work, especially reading fine print or extensive reports, eyes can easily become fatigued, potentially leading to misinterpretations. The [Hamlet] Paperweight Ruler Magnifier is 100% Made in Taiwan (MIT) and designed for those who spend extended periods reading. It eliminates the need to hold it to maintain focus. Simply place it on the material you wish to view and observe within the appropriate eye-relief range for a clear, bright magnified image. Effortlessly move it along as you read, significantly enhancing work efficiency! It is an assistive tool suitable for individuals with albinism or nystagmus, as well as for cross-checking accounting and financial statements, reconciling bills, reading legal texts, reviewing extensive theses, proofreading typeset text, reading newspaper columns, consulting dictionaries, engineering drafting, data entry, and reading the Bible or Buddhist scriptures. It magnifies content with ease and prevents skipping lines. When placed horizontally, it provides magnification with a slight elongation effect. https://www.hwatang.com.tw/uploads/editor/Hamlet-Desk-Magnifier/A043-V4-PL2.jpg?1497864882470 **Product Features** **Optimal Magnification for Work Assistance** Magnification isn't just about higher power; it's about matching the magnification to the user's needs. Considering different age groups, most professionals have better vision than seniors and require less magnification for work-related reading. We've designed this magnifier with 2x magnification and an eye relief of up to 320mm (*). This allows for comfortable viewing without needing to get too close, striking an ideal balance between magnification effect, visible field, and eye relief (the distance between your eye and the lens). **Optical-Grade Acrylic Lens** The lens is crafted from optical-grade acrylic made in Taiwan, offering high light transmittance, excellent image quality, and a lightweight design. It also means the lens won't shatter if accidentally dropped. **Black Masking Bars** Incorporating the principles of a Typoscope reading guide, the black masking bars are an exclusive design by [Hamlet]. During reading, they mask the text above and below, focusing your attention on the central magnified area. This facilitates line-by-line viewing of complex documents, reducing confusion and eye strain. https://www.hwatang.com.tw/uploads/editor/Hamlet-Desk-Magnifier/A044-3-PL2.jpg?1497864890494 **Dual Centimeter/Inch Units** The measuring range extends to 20 centimeters and 7 inches, with the smallest unit being 1 millimeter and 1/10 inch. It functions as a standard stationery ruler and is also suitable for drafting. **Premium Storage Pouch** Included with this product is a finely crafted storage pouch made in Taiwan. It protects the magnifier from scratches and allows for easy portability in a bag. https://www.hwatang.com.tw/uploads/editor/Hamlet-Desk-Magnifier/A043-5-PL2.jpg?1497864901555 **Precautions** .
