Imagine the complexity of integrating stone into leather goods – it's akin to humanity's aspiration for space travel! We achieve this by meticulously slicing the stone into thin sheets, preserving the natural layered textures and tactile qualities of the rock. Our marble features a limestone or black mineral base, enhanced by a specialized spraying technique that creates random, exquisite patterns. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. The ruggedness of the marble, contrasted with the supple nature of leather, creates a captivating blend of strength and softness, of the raw and the refined, culminating in a unique, beautifully conflicting aesthetic. After two years of preparation and technical refinement, Matt Studio proudly launched its marble and leather collection in 2021. We challenged the boundaries of stone craftsmanship, employing precision engineering and intricate techniques to seamlessly integrate stone with leather. This collection showcases the stone's natural form and its unparalleled textures, reminiscent of traditional Chinese landscape paintings. Available in two colors: Silver Fox Grey / Jadeite Black. Care Instructions: For the genuine leather, use a leather cleaner for any stains. For the natural marble, gently wipe with a damp cloth wrung dry, and allow it to air dry in a cool place.
