Replica Goshuin of Taiwan's Kaohsiung Shrine

Taiwan once had shrines that became places of worship for the people. Though they no longer exist today, this commemorative item is specially created to honor them. The Kaohsiung Shrine, originally the Takao Kanpira Shrine, was established to serve the coastal community of Kaohsiung. It was designated as a Prefectural Shrine in 1932. After the war, it was rebuilt as a Martyrs' Shrine. Today, remnants such as the rebuilt torii gate and komainu statues remain. ❈ This is a replica goshuin of a lost shrine in Taiwan, it does not carry any divine blessings.
