It looks beautiful under the light. Due to the glass and metal materials, it has some weight. I remember the flea market seller saying quite proudly that she discovered this charming, playful handmade antique. Aside from the age of the piece, its character reflects the beauty of a bygone era. She treasured it for a long time, and so have I. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The inaugural antique collection from Picks de Bea is now live. A taste of the U.S. East Coast from New York and Connecticut. Beautiful life accents with a story. Sellers tell the history of these treasures. In the 1920s, Grandma carried her clutch to the village tavern to gather with friends alongside Grandpa... That sewing machine moved with Grandma to a new home, and the thread spools inside are still made of wood... This vinyl record player still functions; believe me, you won't find another one with a working radio feature... When I saw the same rocking chair my grandparents always held me in, I felt a lump in my throat as if it were only yesterday, and I grabbed my friends to tell them my story... Vintage items are others' old loves and our new favorites. The stories they tell have warmth and resonance. Everyone has memories that are sometimes colorful and blurred, other times crystal clear. What Picks de Bea shares with you is "Once upon a time..." Please note that these are antiques, not new products. Signs of age are inevitable. We cannot provide returns or exchanges. We do our best to show every angle in the photos! Please only purchase if you understand the value and condition of antiques. Origin/Manufacturing Method Collected in New York
