With new rules for ships and pirates, you'll face a more dynamic and challenging Catan adventure! Catan is settled. It's time to set sail for uncharted seas! Build ships with wood and parchment, creating sea routes that let you explore from the coast to the open ocean. This is an expansion that requires the Catan base game (Chinese-German edition or German edition). It adds ocean and island tiles. If players build ships and develop territory on the Treasure Islands, they can gain any resource they wish. ★ Changes from the base game rules: After each player's turn, there is an additional "Building Phase." During this phase, players other than the current player can take turns in clockwise order to build settlements, cities, and/or buy development cards. Eight exciting scenarios are waiting for you: Survive on the **Four Islands** and explore the **Ocean of the Beasts**. Journey **Across the Desert** to the **Forgotten Tribe** and discover **Catan Products**.
